The Legacy B4 2.0GT DIT is the turbocharged sedan of the facelifted fifth generation (BM) in Japan, sold from 2012 to 2014. It replaced the 2.5-litre turbo with the new FA20 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo, which makes 300 PS and 400 Nm and is paired with a CVT and all-wheel drive. It was more powerful than the 285 PS 2.5GT it succeeded, from a smaller engine.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
