The Legacy 2.5i is the naturally aspirated sedan of the seventh and final Legacy, launched in the US in 2019 as a 2020 model and sold until the 2022 model year. It uses the 2.5-litre FB25D boxer four with 182 hp, a CVT and all-wheel drive, on the new Subaru Global Platform. Its trim levels ran from base through Premium and Sport to Limited.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
