The Legacy 2.5i for the US market after the facelift revealed in 2022, sold as a 2023 model and onward until 2025. The facelift brought a new bumper, headlamps and a larger grille, while the 2.5-litre FB25D boxer four kept its 182 hp, with a CVT and all-wheel drive. The Sport trim, previously on this engine, moved to the 2.4 turbo for 2023.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
