The Leone GT Turbo 4WD Automatic is the Japanese-market automatic turbo sedan of the third-generation Leone launch phase, built in 1984 and 1985. Chassis code AA7, its 1.8-litre EA82T turbo boxer makes 135 PS (gross) and drives all four wheels through a three-speed automatic. The manual-gearbox turbo of the same range is the separate RX Turbo.

STORY

The Subaru Leone was a compact car produced from 1971 to 1994, serving as Subaru's mainstream global model and one of the first mass produced four-wheel-drive passenger cars. Sold in sedan, coupe, wagon, and hatchback forms, it spread Subaru's flat-four AWD reputation worldwide, especially in snowy and rural markets. The Impreza replaced it in 1994, with the Legacy covering the larger end of the range.
