The GL/Loyale Turbo Wagon 4WD is the turbocharged estate of the restyled third-generation Leone in the US, sold from 1987 to 1990 and dropped for 1991. Its 1.8-litre EA82T turbo boxer makes 115 hp, with an automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. It was the quick, well-equipped wagon of the Loyale range for only a few model years.

STORY

The Subaru Leone was a compact car produced from 1971 to 1994, serving as Subaru's mainstream global model and one of the first mass produced four-wheel-drive passenger cars. Sold in sedan, coupe, wagon, and hatchback forms, it spread Subaru's flat-four AWD reputation worldwide, especially in snowy and rural markets. The Impreza replaced it in 1994, with the Legacy covering the larger end of the range.
