The Loyale 1.8 Sedan is the front-wheel-drive saloon of the restyled third-generation Leone in the US, sold from 1987 to 1994. It has the 1.8-litre EA82 boxer four with 90 hp and a manual gearbox. The 1987 facelift revised the front end, and North American cars carried the Loyale name for the later run. A basic, long-running small sedan.

STORY

The Subaru Leone was a compact car produced from 1971 to 1994, serving as Subaru's mainstream global model and one of the first mass produced four-wheel-drive passenger cars. Sold in sedan, coupe, wagon, and hatchback forms, it spread Subaru's flat-four AWD reputation worldwide, especially in snowy and rural markets. The Impreza replaced it in 1994, with the Legacy covering the larger end of the range.
