Legacy Lancaster 2.5 (BH)

The Japanese Outback equivalent after the 2001 facelift, sold as the Legacy Lancaster. This version uses the 2.5-litre EJ254 four-cylinder with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive, and it sits beside the Lancaster 6, which took the EZ30 flat-six. It is a wagon built from 2001 to 2004.

STORY

The Outback launched in 1994 as a raised version of the Legacy wagon with off-road trim, credited with helping popularize the crossover concept in North America.
