Its 2.0-litre EE20 turbodiesel boxer makes 150 PS and is paired with a manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. Sold from 2009 to 2012 in Europe, the UK and Australia, with UK trims called 2.0D SE and SE NavPlus.

STORY

The Outback launched in 1994 as a raised version of the Legacy wagon with off-road trim, credited with helping popularize the crossover concept in North America.
