Outback XT 2.4 Turbo (BT)

The Outback XT turbo in the facelifted sixth generation, built from 2023 to 2025. It uses the 2.4-litre four-cylinder with about 260 horsepower, an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive, unchanged from the earlier phase, and shows the redesigned front end and grille of the 2023 update. It is the powerful alternative to the 2.5i at about 182 horsepower.

STORY

The Outback launched in 1994 as a raised version of the Legacy wagon with off-road trim, credited with helping popularize the crossover concept in North America. It grew into a standalone nameplate with permanent symmetrical all-wheel drive and boxer engines, remaining one of Subaru's best-selling models.
