Pleo Van A 4WD

RA1/RA2 · RV1/RV2 · 1998–20004WD

The all-wheel-drive Van A, the commercial body of the first-generation Pleo, offered in Japan from 1998 to 2000. It uses the 0.66-litre EN07S four-cylinder with 45 PS and a manual gearbox, so it differs from the front-drive van mainly in driving all four wheels. Like every Pleo van, it is a kei-class working vehicle.

STORY

The Pleo was a Subaru kei car introduced in 1998 to succeed the Vivio, offered as a tall five-door with supercharged variants. After Subaru ended in-house kei production, the second-generation Pleo from 2010 became a rebadged Daihatsu Mira, supplied through Subaru's partnership with the Toyota group.
