The R1 R is the Japanese-market naturally aspirated R grade of the Subaru R1 (RJ1/RJ2), a two-door premium kei coupe sold from 2005 to 2010. Its 0.658-litre DOHC four-cylinder (EN07D) makes 54 PS and drives the front wheels through a CVT. It sits below the supercharged S, which reaches the 64 PS kei ceiling.
