The Rex 1.0 Turbo 4WD (A210F) is the all-wheel-drive version of the Japanese Subaru Rex crossover, on sale from 16 October 2025. Its 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo engine, coded 1KR-VET, makes 98 PS and is paired with a CVT. It is a rebadged Daihatsu Rocky, not a kei car, and was sold in G 4WD and Z 4WD grades with Dynamic Torque Control four-wheel drive.

STORY

The Rex was Subaru's long-running kei car line that began in 1972 and served as an affordable entry model, rear-engined at first and front-wheel drive from 1981. Successive generations offered two- and four-stroke engines and optional four-wheel drive before the Vivio replaced it in 1992.
