In the second phase of the sixth generation the Dias Van 0.66 carried on with the new grille and six-star emblem of the September 2002 update. The 0.66-litre four-cylinder petrol engine still delivers about 48 horsepower to the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox. This version covers the years from 2002 to 2005.

The Sambar is Subaru's kei truck and microvan, introduced in 1961 with a rear-engine, rear- or all-wheel-drive layout unusual for its class. Prized for traction and packaging, it was built in-house for decades before becoming a rebadged Daihatsu Hijet in 2012.
