The all-wheel-drive naturally aspirated Stella after the December 2012 facelift, which brought Smart Assist, a first among kei cars, and moved the instrument cluster in front of the driver. The Japan-market LA110F uses the 0.66-litre KF-VE three-cylinder with 52 PS and a CVT. It was sold from 2012 to 2014 as the non-turbo four-wheel-drive choice.

STORY

The Stella is a tall kei wagon introduced in June 2006 on the R2's architecture, initially a Subaru-engineered model emphasizing interior space. From its second generation in 2011 it became a rebadged Daihatsu Move after Subaru ended in-house kei production, and a small number of electric Stella Plug-in cars were built in 2009 and 2010.
