The all-wheel-drive naturally aspirated Stella (LA160F) of the facelifted generation, sold in Japan from 2017 to 2023. The August 2017 update restyled the Custom's nose and added stereo-camera Smart Assist III with a surround-view monitor. Power is 52 PS from the 0.66-litre KF-VE three-cylinder, sent through a CVT to all four wheels.

STORY

The Stella is a tall kei wagon introduced in June 2006 on the R2's architecture, initially a Subaru-engineered model emphasizing interior space. From its second generation in 2011 it became a rebadged Daihatsu Move after Subaru ended in-house kei production, and a small number of electric Stella Plug-in cars were built in 2009 and 2010.
