The front-wheel-drive naturally aspirated Stella of the newest LA850F/LA860F generation, on sale in Japan from 2025. It is a rebadged seventh-generation Daihatsu Move, and sliding rear doors appear on a Stella for the first time. The 0.66-litre KF-VE6 three-cylinder gives 52 PS through a CVT. The Custom version was dropped.

STORY

The Stella is a tall kei wagon introduced in June 2006 on the R2's architecture, initially a Subaru-engineered model emphasizing interior space. From its second generation in 2011 it became a rebadged Daihatsu Move after Subaru ended in-house kei production, and a small number of electric Stella Plug-in cars were built in 2009 and 2010.
