The front-wheel-drive Vivio Van of the final Type E years, sold in Japan from 1996 to 1998. It still uses the carburetted 0.66-litre EN07A four-cylinder with 42 PS and a manual gearbox, a modest commercial kei with the revised front end and larger mirrors of this revision.

STORY

The Vivio was a kei car sold from 1992 to 1998, replacing the Rex with a rounded body and available supercharged engine plus optional four-wheel drive. Rally prepared Vivios famously entered the 1993 Safari Rally, and a limited targa-top version was offered in 1993 for Subaru's 40th anniversary.
