The WRX ARA25 is the current Open-class rally car of Subaru Motorsports USA, in the shape of the VB-generation WRX since 2023. A custom 2.0-litre boxer makes 320 hp and 380 lb-ft, about 515 Nm, under class limits, through a SADEV six-speed sequential gearbox and all-wheel drive. Brandon Semenuk won his fourth consecutive ARA title in 2025 driving for the team.

STORY

Subaru's American rally programme, run by Vermont SportsCar. More than a dozen national driver championships, in Rally America and the American Rally Association, went to Travis Pastrana, David Higgins and Brandon Semenuk, and the same shop built the rallycross cars that carry the WRX name.
