The WRX ARA25L is the Limited 4WD class sibling of the Open-class ARA25, built by Vermont SportsCar on the VB WRX for the US since 2025. It uses a 2.4-litre FA24 turbo four, a six-speed sequential gearbox with a three-plate carbon clutch, and all-wheel drive. It debuted at the Olympus Rally on 12 and 13 April 2025, where Travis Pastrana finished 10th overall and 4th in class.

STORY

Subaru's American rally programme, run by Vermont SportsCar. More than a dozen national driver championships, in Rally America and the American Rally Association, went to Travis Pastrana, David Higgins and Brandon Semenuk, and the same shop built the rallycross cars that carry the WRX name.
