The Impreza WRX STI S201 is a limited STI complete car sold in 2000 in a run of 300 cars for Japan. STI built it on the GC8 WRX STI and raised the 2.0-litre EJ20 turbo boxer to 300 PS and 353 Nm with a sport ECU and changed intake and exhaust. It has a five-speed manual, a front helical limited-slip differential, adjustable suspension and a full body kit with a double rear wing. The kerb weight is 1,270 kg.

STORY

The WRX began as the performance turbocharged version of the Impreza in 1992, powered by a turbo boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive that made it well known in rallying and among enthusiasts. Subaru later spun the WRX off as its own model line, with the STI variant serving as the high-performance flagship.
