The Impreza WRX Wagon is the estate version of the European 'bugeye' WRX (chassis GGA), built in 2001 and 2002. It carries the same 2.0-litre EJ205 turbocharged boxer as the sedan, rated at 218 PS, with a manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. The wagon gave buyers the WRX's performance together with a larger load space.

STORY

The WRX began as the performance turbocharged version of the Impreza in 1992, powered by a turbo boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive that made it well known in rallying and among enthusiasts. Subaru later spun the WRX off as its own model line, with the STI variant serving as the high-performance flagship.
