The Impreza WRX STI S203 is a limited STI complete car announced on 13 December 2004 and sold from 11 January 2005 in a run of 555 cars for Japan. STI built it on the blobeye WRX STI as a global pure sport sedan, and Petter Solberg took part in the testing. The 2.0-litre EJ20 turbo boxer makes 320 PS and 422 Nm, sent through a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive. The kerb weight is 1,445 kg, Recaro seats have dry-carbon shells, and the price was 4,609,500 yen.

STORY

The WRX began as the performance turbocharged version of the Impreza in 1992, powered by a turbo boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive that made it well known in rallying and among enthusiasts. Subaru later spun the WRX off as its own model line, with the STI variant serving as the high-performance flagship.
