WRX STI (Europe/AU)

The WRX STI (Europe/AU) is the five-door GRB sold in Europe and Australia from 2007 to 2010. Unlike the Japanese car, it uses a 2.5-litre EJ257 turbocharged boxer making 300 PS, with a six-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. It has the wide-arch hatchback body of the launch phase of the GR/GV generation.

STORY

The WRX began as the performance turbocharged version of the Impreza in 1992, powered by a turbo boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive that made it well known in rallying and among enthusiasts. Subaru later spun the WRX off as its own model line, with the STI variant serving as the high-performance flagship.
