The US WRX STI sedan of 2010 to 2014 returned the four-door body to the American STI line after the five-door-only launch phase. The 2.5-litre turbo boxer makes 305 hp and 290 lb-ft (393 Nm), with a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive. The US sedan measures 4,580 mm long on a 2,625 mm wheelbase. It follows the July 2010 facelift, which gave the WRX the STI's wide-arch body.

STORY

The WRX began as the performance turbocharged version of the Impreza in 1992, powered by a turbo boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive that made it well known in rallying and among enthusiasts. Subaru later spun the WRX off as its own model line, with the STI variant serving as the high-performance flagship.
