The WRX STI S206 is a limited STI complete car built on the four-door WRX STI and sold from 24 November 2011 in a run of 300 cars for Japan. Its 2.0-litre EJ20 turbo boxer makes 320 PS and 431 Nm through a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive. STI added Bilstein dampers, a flexible tower bar, BBS 19-inch forged wheels and Michelin tyres, and offered the NBR Challenge Package with a carbon roof for up to 100 of the cars. The list price was 5,150,000 yen before tax.

STORY

The WRX began as the performance turbocharged version of the Impreza in 1992, powered by a turbo boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive that made it well known in rallying and among enthusiasts. Subaru later spun the WRX off as its own model line, with the STI variant serving as the high-performance flagship.
