WRX STI S209

The WRX STI S209 is a 2019 US-only limited edition, with just 209 units built, and the first STI S-series car sold outside Japan. Its 2.5-litre EJ257 turbo boxer is rated at 341 hp (346 PS), well above the 305 hp of the regular STI, and it keeps the six-speed manual with all-wheel drive.

STORY

The WRX began as the performance turbocharged version of the Impreza in 1992, powered by a turbo boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive that made it well known in rallying and among enthusiasts.
