Alcyone 2.7 VX

The Alcyone 2.7 VX is the Japan-market six-cylinder version of the XT coupe, built from 1987 to 1991. The 2.7-litre ER27 flat-six was added at the July 1987 change and makes 150 PS at 5,200 rpm and 211 Nm, with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. Its US counterpart is the XT6.

STORY

The XT, known as the Alcyone in Japan, was an aerodynamic wedge-shaped sports coupe sold from 1985 to 1991 with a very low drag coefficient. It offered turbocharged flat-four and later flat-six engines with available all-wheel drive and a futuristic digital cockpit.
