STORY
The Baleno name first appeared in the mid-1990s on the Cultus Crescent, a compact sedan, hatchback and wagon sold across Europe, Asia and beyond. Suzuki revived it in 2015 as an all-new light hatchback on the lightweight HEARTECT platform. It sits above the Swift, with a roomy cabin and efficient engines, and is built largely in India for export worldwide. The modern Baleno has sold strongly in India and emerging markets, with mild-hybrid and CNG options.
