STORY

The Celerio launched in 2014 as a tall, space-efficient A-segment hatchback. It was notable for offering an automated manual transmission (AGS/AMT) at a low price in India, early on. Maruti Suzuki builds it, and it focused on fuel economy and value. It was also sold in Europe and other export markets. A second generation followed in 2021 for India, with a more efficient K10C engine and updated styling.
