STORY

The Kizashi arrived in 2009 as Suzuki's flagship mid-size sedan, developed to move the brand upmarket. It had a well-finished cabin, available all-wheel drive and a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with a CVT or manual gearbox. It was praised for its handling and refinement but sold poorly against established mid-size rivals and had no V6 or diesel option. Production ended in 2014 without a direct successor, and it keeps a following among enthusiasts.
