STORY

The S-Cross (initially the SX4 S-Cross) launched in 2013 as a compact crossover succeeding the SX4. It had a spacious cabin, efficient petrol and diesel engines and Suzuki's AllGrip 4WD. A 2016 facelift gave it a taller, more SUV-like nose and added Boosterjet turbo engines. The second generation of 2021 had bolder styling and mild-hybrid power, and kept the practical, value-focused formula.
