STORY

The X-90 launched in 1995 as an unusual two-seat notchback coupe on Vitara and Sidekick mechanicals, with removable T-bar roof panels and optional four-wheel drive. It had a 1.6-litre engine and mixed sports-coupe styling with SUV underpinnings, but few people bought it and it was dropped in 1997. Its rarity and odd concept have since made it a curiosity with a small following.
