STORY

The XL7 (originally the Grand Vitara XL-7) name returned for 2007 on a stand-alone three-row crossover built on GM's Theta platform and produced in Canada alongside the Chevrolet Equinox. It had seven seats and a 3.6-litre V6, which made it Suzuki's family flagship in North America. Weak sales amid Suzuki's decline in the US ended it after 2009.
