STORY

The Talbot Samba was a small hatchback built on the short-wheelbase Peugeot 104 platform. Production started in October 1981 and the car was launched as the Talbot Samba in December. A cabriolet designed by Pininfarina followed in 1982; Pininfarina built the cabriolet. Engines ranged from about 1.0 to 1.4 litres. Production ended in 1986.
