STORY

Introduced in 2015, the Model X is Tesla's full-size electric SUV, best known for its rear 'Falcon Wing' doors and its available six- or seven-seat cabin. It shares much of its platform and running gear with the Model S, including dual-motor and later tri-motor drive. A 2021 refresh added the new interior, an optional yoke and the tri-motor Plaid version.
