UCF10 and UCF11 reached Toyota Store and Toyopet Store showrooms on 9 October 1989, built at Tahara around a 3,968 cc 1UZ-FE V8 of 260 PS, with double wishbones all round and air springs on the top C grade, and the car took the Japan Car of the Year award for 1989 to 1990. UCF20 followed on 11 October 1994 with a 35 mm longer wheelbase and 265 PS, and a heavy revision in July 1997 brought VVT-i, 280 PS and a five-speed automatic.
