The Corona EXiV was built from 1989 as a style-focused sedan, a close sibling of the Carina ED on Toyota's T platform shared with the Celica. The first generation, coded T180, ran until 1993 with 1.8-litre 4S-FE and 2.0-litre 3S-FE and 3S-GE engines, manual or automatic. The T200 followed from 1993 to 1998 with the same engines and added an All-Trac four-wheel-drive version in May 1994. The Progres later took over the segment.
The Corona EXiV is a front-drive four-door sedan with a low roofline, sold in Japan from 1989 to 1998. It used 1.8-litre 4S-FE and 2.0-litre 3S-FE and 3S-GE petrol fours. A four-wheel-drive version joined the second generation in 1994.
