STORY

The FJ Cruiser was a retro-styled body-on-frame SUV inspired by the classic FJ40 Land Cruiser, built on the Prado J120 platform. Introduced at the 2005 North American International Auto Show, it featured distinctive rear-hinged access doors, a white roof and a boxy silhouette. It was powered mainly by Toyota's 4.0-litre 1GR-FE V6 and sold in North America through 2014, with Middle East production continuing into 2022.
