STORY

The GR86 is the second-generation of Toyota's affordable rear-wheel-drive sports coupe, co-developed with Subaru and launched in 2021. It replaced the 2.0-litre boxer of the original 86 with a larger 2.4-litre naturally aspirated flat-four for stronger low-end torque. Now branded under Gazoo Racing, it keeps the lightweight, driver-focused ethos of its predecessor.
