STORY

Toyota revealed the Grand Highlander in February 2023 as a longer, taller and wider three-row crossover than the regular Highlander. Toyota Indiana in Princeton started building it in August 2023 as a 2024 model, and Toyota says it is assembled exclusively there. Toyota calls the third row adult-sized and lists a maximum seating capacity of eight, with around 98 cubic feet of cargo space when the seats are folded down. Three powertrains were offered: a 2.4-litre turbo petrol engine, a 2.5-litre hybrid, and the Hybrid MAX, which Toyota rates at 362 horsepower.
