STORY
The Highlander is a unibody three-row mid-size crossover SUV launched in 2000 for the 2001 model year, one of the first car-based SUVs of its size. Aimed largely at North America, China and Australia, it offers seating for up to eight and has long been available with efficient hybrid powertrains. It grew into one of Toyota's core family SUVs on the TNGA-K platform.
