Hilux 2.5 D-4D 102 hp (2KD-FTV, AN30)

This AN30 Hilux for international markets used the 2.5 litre 2KD-FTV D-4D turbodiesel in the lower-output version without an intercooler, with rear-wheel drive and a manual gearbox. It was sold from 2004 to 2015. A version with an intercooler made more power, so this is the less powerful 2.5 litre tune.

STORY

The Hilux went on sale in Japan on 21 March 1968 as the RN10. Later generations were introduced in September 1978, September 1988 and September 1997, and the seventh, the Hilux Vigo, began production and launch in Thailand in August 2004. The eighth generation had its world premiere in Thailand in May 2015. Toyota unveiled the ninth generation in November 2025, a little over ten years later, with a dual-motor battery-electric version and a mild-hybrid 2.8-litre diesel among its powertrains.
