Four-wheel drive with a manual gearbox and the 2.7 litre 2TR-FE petrol engine defines this seventh-generation Hilux, sold internationally from 2004 to 2015. It is a four-cylinder pickup and the manual counterpart to the rear-wheel-drive automatic that uses the same 2TR-FE engine. It has four cylinders and a pickup body.

STORY

The Hilux went on sale in Japan on 21 March 1968 as the RN10. Later generations were introduced in September 1978, September 1988 and September 1997, and the seventh, the Hilux Vigo, began production and launch in Thailand in August 2004. The eighth generation had its world premiere in Thailand in May 2015. Toyota unveiled the ninth generation in November 2025, a little over ten years later, with a dual-motor battery-electric version and a mild-hybrid 2.8-litre diesel among its powertrains.
