The Innova Zenix 2.0 Hybrid is the hybrid MPV of the AC10 generation, sold from 2022. A 2.0-litre M20A-FXS four-cylinder hybrid system makes 186 PS and drives the front wheels through a CVT automatic. It seats seven, reaches 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds and 185 km/h at the top.

STORY

Toyota launched the Innova in 2004 as the successor to the Kijang wagon, and in Indonesia it is sold as the Kijang Innova. The first generation (AN40) was a rear-drive ladder-frame wagon built on the IMV platform shared with the Hilux and Fortuner, with 2.0-litre and 2.7-litre petrol engines and a 2.5-litre turbo diesel. The second generation (AN140) was introduced in Indonesia in November 2015, with a 2.4-litre diesel among its engines, and reached India in May 2016 as the Innova Crysta. In November 2022 the name moved to a hybrid model, the Innova HyCross in India.
