The Pixis Space of 26 September 2011 was the first minivehicle ever sold under the Toyota badge, and it was not a Toyota design: Daihatsu developed and built it as the Move Conte, on sale since 25 August 2008, and supplied it as the first car under the OEM agreement the two companies reached in September 2010. Emblems, grade names and model mix aside, the two were the same car. Buyers chose between the plain L and X bodies and the Custom X, Custom G and Custom RS, all on the L575A and L585A types with the 658 cc three-cylinder KF, either 38 kW (52 PS) with variable valve timing or 47 kW (64 PS) with an intercooled turbocharger, always through a CVT. Two-wheel-drive cars with the eco-IDLE stop system returned 25.5 km/L on the 10-15 cycle. Daihatsu Motor Kyushu built them, Corolla Store and Netz led the selling, and the run ended in January 2017.
Daihatsu Move Conte rebadge (2011 to 2017): a tall, boxy kei wagon with a turbo option.
