STORY

The ProAce name covers four different vans. The first, sold from 2013, was a rebadged Citroen Jumpy. The second arrived on the PSA EMP2 platform, with Toyota keeping ProAce for the panel van and using ProAce Verso for the passenger version; a battery-electric ProAce Electric with a 100 kW motor followed. The ProAce City, shown at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham on 30 April 2019, is built in Vigo alongside the Peugeot Partner and Citroen Berlingo, with payload up to 1,000 kg and sales across Europe from early 2020. The large ProAce Max, presented in December 2023, was developed with Stellantis and is built in Stellantis plants in Gliwice and Atessa and offers up to 17 cubic metres of load volume and an electric version claimed at up to 420 km.
