STORY

The Starlet was a subcompact economy car produced from 1973, initially rear-wheel drive before switching to front-wheel drive in the 1980s. Known for reliability and light weight, it was popular in many markets before being replaced by the Yaris/Vitz, and the name was revived in the 2020s for a rebadged model in some regions.
