Toyota's debut Formula One car, campaigned in the team's inaugural 2002 championship by Mika Salo and Allan McNish. Designed under Gustav Brunner and powered by the 3.0-litre RVX-02 V10, it scored points on its very first outing (Salo, 6th in Australia). Toyota finished 10th in the Constructors' Championship with 2 points and no podiums.

STORY

Toyota contested Formula 1 as a full works constructor from 2002 to 2009, running the TF10x series of cars out of its Cologne (TMG) facility. Despite one of the largest budgets on the grid, the team never won a Grand Prix, scoring its best results as runner-up finishes. Toyota withdrew from the sport at the end of the 2009 season.
