In 2005 Jarno Trulli took the team's first-ever podiums with back-to-back second places in Malaysia and Bahrain, and Toyota (Trulli, Ralf Schumacher, Zonta) scored five podiums and 88 points to finish 4th in the Constructors' Championship - the marque's best result. Powered by the final-spec 3.0L RVX-05 V10.

STORY

Toyota contested Formula 1 as a full works constructor from 2002 to 2009, running the TF10x series of cars out of its Cologne (TMG) facility. Despite one of the largest budgets on the grid, the team never won a Grand Prix, scoring its best results as runner-up finishes. Toyota withdrew from the sport at the end of the 2009 season.
