The Cresta was Vauxhall's large, American-influenced luxury saloon, with the final PC generation produced from 1965. It offered six-cylinder power, a spacious cabin and optional automatic transmission aimed at buyers wanting an affordable big car. The Cresta line was discontinued in 1972 as tastes shifted toward the more modern Victor and Ventora.
